Regenboogstembusakkoord 2022

In februari 2022 bezoekt COC Midden-Nederland alle 34* gemeente in ons werkgebied, voor de ondertekening van het vernieuwde Regenboogstembusakkoord! Dit is een prachtige mijlpaal voor het bestuur van COC Midden-Nederland. Dat er in álle gemeenten in het werkgebied van COC Midden-Nederland ondertekend gaat worden, betekend dat elke gemeente zich écht wil gaan inzetten voor LHBTIQ+ personen. COC Midden-Nederland heeft ook de helpende hand geboden om gemeente te ondersteunen waar nodig.

In 2018 is COC Midden-Nederland gestart met het uitbrengen van de Regenboogstembusakkoorden. Dat jaar bezocht de vereniging 24 gemeenten en nodigde het lokale partijen uit om een handtekening onder het akkoord te zetten. In 2021 heeft het bestuur van COC Midden-Nederland het Regenboogstembusakkoord vernieuwd. Hierbij zijn enkele LHBTIQ+ organisaties betrokken geweest om input te leveren zodat het nieuwe akkoord breed wordt gedragen.

Vandaag publiceren wij het nieuwe Regenboogstembusakkoord 2022 ook op onze website en social media. Wij hopen dat u het nieuwe Regenboogstembusakkoord en de daarbij behorende suggesties voor een kleurrijke gemeente met plezier zult lezen en met passie aan de slag gaat om de komende jaren nieuwe progressie te boeken.

COC Midden-Nederland heeft al prachtige reacties ontvangen, waarin lokale politieke partijen hebben toegezegd het Regenboogstembusakkoord 2022 te komen ondertekenen. Ook geeft men aan dat het Regenboogakkoord uit 2018 zijn meerwaarde heeft bewezen, een mooi positief geluid!

*Gemeente Weesp zal per 24 maart 2022 overgaan als stadsgebied van de Gemeente Amsterdam. Deze gemeente zal niet worden bezocht tijdens de komende ondertekeningen van het Regenboogstembusakkoord. Het bestuur van COC Midden-Nederland heeft COC-vereniging Amsterdam e.o. hiervan op de hoogte gesteld. Gemeente Weesp zal wel worden meegenomen in de eindevaluatie in de Regenboogmonitor.
